Street Corner Ministry February 5 2022

Another great Saturday with our Freedom corridor community in the books! This is just our third week at the corner of Freedom and Ashley and we are already seeing some neighbors from the last couple of weekends. Twenty three servants built community with about fifty local neighbors by bringing the party, the Good News, and hope. 

This week we saw God move by:

• Bringing back a man whom we met at our first week who requested an air mattress for his girlfriend’s back since the ground was causing pain in their tent. He let us know that his girlfriend died of a stroke recently. Our hearts go out to him, but also our lives - he was picked  up and joined us for church on Sunday! By listening to the message he left Tim, the joy in his voice was uplifting.

• A mom and her two teen boys who visited on the second Saturday out returned as well and we got to know the boys some more. When they heard about the MMOG battle games they instantly wanted to join, so we’re hoping they’ll join us in April.
