We believe faith is lived out through action — showing up, building relationships, meeting real needs, and serving our neighbors with compassion.
You don’t have to have a special skill set or know exactly where you fit. If you’re willing to serve, there’s a place for you to get involved.
Street Corner Ministries
Street Corner Ministries is about meeting needs through judgment-free community building in the name of Jesus.
We create opportunities to connect with people, serve practical needs, build relationships, and bring encouragement to neighbors throughout the Charlotte area.
Whether you can help serve food, organize supplies, welcome people, assist at an event, or simply be present and connect with others, your time can make a difference.
Go and Do Likewise
Put Love Into Action
In Luke 10, Jesus tells the story of a man in need and another person who went out of his way to care for him.
Jesus ends with a simple challenge:
“Go and do likewise.”
That idea is at the heart of how we serve.
Caring for our neighbors does not always require a huge commitment. Sometimes it means giving a few hours, helping meet a practical need, sharing a conversation, or simply showing up when someone needs support.
We want to make it easier for people to find meaningful ways to serve and put their faith into action.

Serving with MMOG can look different depending on the current needs of our community.

• Helping neighbors experiencing homelessness

• Community service projects
• Hospitality and volunteer support
• Donating needed items
• Helping behind the scenes
• No matter how you serve, the goal is the same: love people well and meet needs where we can.
Support the Mission
Give Your Time, Resources, or Support
Not everyone is able to serve at every event, and that’s okay.
There are other ways to help MMOG continue serving our community.
Contribute Financially
Your support helps provide resources for outreach, community service projects, supplies, meals, and other needs that arise throughout the year.
MMOG is a 100% volunteer organization, including its operating members and board of directors, helping ensure donations go toward supporting the mission and meeting needs.
Donate Supplies
You can also help replenish supplies used to serve neighbors experiencing homelessness and others in need.
